Frank Meyer introduced Chinese dwarf lemon trees to the US in the early twentieth century. Meyer lemons are a natural hybrid of a sweet orange and lemon. My lemons in this photo might look paltry but there are still 2 more on the tree. The aroma of the blossoms and the lemons they produce envelop my house, truly divine! Amazingly my plant has never been outside, always in my house.
My lemon lime shea butter cream comes close to reproducing the aroma. I use organic shea butter, organic lemon and lime essential oils. It is decadent! It is great for hands and feet, especially the cuticles.
